An Island Vacation

My wife and I decided to go on a vacation to get away from our day to day routine that we have going on in our lives. With all of the hustle and bustle going on, it felt imperative that we just get out of dodge for a couple weeks.

We had talked about it for several months and could never seem to come to any conclusion on finding that perfect time to go. Finally, we had made our decision on when the perfect date would be, and so we went ahead and scheduled it. We have always wanted to go somewhere over seas to a different country or to an exotic island in the atlantics.

After speaking with my wife about all the different places we could go, it seemed apparent that both of us were leaning more towards going to the Hawaiian Islands. So without another thought about it, we jumped the gun and booked us a trip. Hawaii is such a beautiful place to say the least. With all the exotic foods and breath-taking scenery, it seemed unimaginable for us not to enjoy ourselves. We both agreed that Maui was the island that we wanted to stay on. So yes we were finally doing it.

After arriving in Maui, I couldn’t believe how gorgeous this place was. There were Plants of all types and unique looking yet Fresh Flowers all throughout the airport along with those Hawaiian Hula girls there to greet us. When we stepped outside of the airport, we were amazed at all the beauty that was laid before us. I thought there was a lot of vegetation inside the airport but when we exited everywhere I looked outside it was green as well. The mountains and hills were all green and loaded with an abundance of palm trees, more than I have ever seen in one place. Anxiously, I couldn’t wait to try our first meal.

I am a humungous fan of seafood and I have heard from many people that the island food is out of this world. So there we were, and so it was, that my wife and I were beginning our vacation with utter excitement and heavily-rooted anticipation. We both knew how important it was for us to get away from our crazy on and on-going lifestyle. Within that two week period, we experienced more than we had ever bargained for. Time had just flown by with all of the fine dining, ocean activities and scenic touring that had taken place. We certainly had the time of our lives on this trip, but sadly, we both knew that it was time for us to get back to our real world. We each brought home Hawaiian Gift Baskets along with Fruit Baskets and many souvenirs from our experience.

When we arrived in our hometown destination, we both unexpectedly felt confident about getting back into the routine of our daily lives because of being so overwhelmed with joy from our trip, we both had noticed that we had a vibrant glow about us and so therefore we would try our very best to contain that energy as long as we could.
