If you are like me, you always want to do more for that special person in your life. Being able to call them out of no where or surprise them at work are a couple of easy things to do, but for me I am always looking to do something more. Going and looking at flowers on line ended up being a quick way for me to look good and also find something special for the woman in my life without spending hours trying to figure out arrangements on my own or trying to find a floral shop that would have what I wanted in stock.
Roses are some of the world’s most beautiful flowers and are a worldwide symbol for so many things. One of the greatest attributes of roses is the plethora of colors that are available. Whether you are looking to send something to a friend, convey a message or decorate a room for a special occasion, roses can match any need you have. Different from many other plants, roses also have different meanings for different colors. While red has long been held as a sign for “love”, sometimes you don’t want to make that bold of a statement to someone you are just beginning to know. Sending a pink rose is known for being a sign of appreciation and thanks, or more of a general happiness. A yellow rose is one that can be sent to a close colleague as a sign of friendship where as we’ve seen white roses at weddings, traditionally as a signal of “happy love” and purity. An orange rose can mean enthusiasm and desire, while a “thorn less rose” could be sent to your spouse showing them that it was “love at first sight”. Jovial feelings can easily be sent with a red & yellow rose, and when red and white roses are sent together they are meant as a sign of unity. These colors and meanings barely scratch the surface as some shops will carry artificially colored roses such as black, for times of farewell or when there has been a death, or even blue for when you are showing something is impossible or unattainable. You don’t have to wrap yourself in any meaning or commit to a certain color though. A single rose is always displayed as a sign of gratitude and simplicity, while a red rosebud is a symbol of purity and loveliness or the white rosebud being a sign of girlhood. The possibilities are endless for getting your point across and there a color for almost every occasion!
The best part is that you won’t have to worry about making the delivery yourself. If you order online, they will make your flower deliveries for you. This will save you time and money at the same time without having to leave the comfort of your home. Specialized messages can be added just the same as if you would call a local florist shop, and same day delivery is also available depending on the time of your order! What better way to say “I love you”, “I’m Sorry” or “You’re special to me” without taking time out of your busy day or even having to pick up the phone!
