In recent years an alternative to regular tanning has been to use sun-beds or booths; it has become the way to ensure a tan twelve months of the year. It has become a recognized fact that too much sun is dangerous for our skin and causes many problems which is why the new artificial methods have proved so popular. Of course it was only a matter of time before the spray tanning system became popular owing to how quick it is. The spray system appears to be more consistent than other artificial methods like crams or lotions where streak marks are not uncommon.
In an effort to win even more followers, spray tanning manufacturers have developed systems where you can apply the tan at home. Irrespective of the system you decide to use, there are some steps you can take to improve the look of your fake tan. Initially you need to exfoliate which will eliminate all the dead skin cells from your body. What you don’t want is for people to recognize your tan is a fake by noticing paler patches of skin where the dead skin cells have dropped from your body.
Once this process is complete, it is advisable to prepare your skin further by applying a moisturizing cream (or lotion) to it which will make the agent easier to apply. Before applying a tanning agent, whether bottle or cream, ensure you are wearing gloves or the orange palms that will follow will give the game away. Lighter coats should always be applied to the joints and feet as they will appear darker, which is a dead giveaway that fake tan has been applied. After a spray tanning application you will want to use a towel to remove any excess that may drip and run.
Try to stay as still as possible whilst any self tanning agent dries as it might smear and cause uneven patches. These agents are notoriously good at marking clothing once they have been applied so you are advised to be careful how soon you get ready afterwards and what you intend to wear. If possible always choose clothing that is darker and preferably something that is old and won’t matter if a stain is left on it. Now that you have this information it should be much easier having a fake tan without anyone knowing.

It wasn’t that long ago when acne (Zits) was considered a curse for the many individuals that suffer from this problem; but there are now many treatments available which can help the condition so it is more bearable. Research into skin care treatment has been advancing for some time now; this is good news with the range of effective skin care treatments improving all the time. The acne skin care products available fall into these:
* Internet or Drugstore: Treatment that helps prevents condition
* Over-the-Counter: Treatments for conditions that do not require prescription
* Specialized, on-prescription acne products
General or preventative acne products form a large section of the skin care market; these products can be anything from skin cleansers to makeup removers. Many people these days use products like this to maintain their skin; often this is irrespective of whether or not there is a problem condition. There are acne skin care products that are more specialized in there approach; they clean out the pores to help stop sebum or oil which can clog these areas. These types of products are reducing the chance of oil staying in the pores and aiding the growth of harmful bacteria which assists the formation of the skin condition.
Other skin care treatments can help exfoliate the skin; these are easily obtainable in any drug store. Dead skin cells and other atmospheric pollutants are removed cleaning the pores which reduce the chance of any bacterial growth. The growth of the skin care market has allowed even more specialized acne skin care products to be available without the need to visit the doctor. A bacterium that aids the formation of acne is stopped by creams and cleansers that contain benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid; these include creams, cleansers and peels that slow down acne formation.
It is often a good idea to start with a product that has lower concentration of benzoyl peroxide (e.g. 5 percent) to see how the skin responds; should a reaction occur, products containing alpha hydroxy acid are generally safer. It might just be a case of trial and error to find an acne skin care product that works; however, if finding an effective remedy it is proving to be a problem then consult with your doctor, or skin care specialist. Only doctors or skin care specialists can prescribe some medications, including the use of antibiotics and certain ointments.
In some case your doctor may suggest the pustules are drained of harmful contents under local anesthetic; this is not something you should ever attempt yourself. Another effective course of skin care treatment is hormone therapy; hormone changes can be responsible for acne but hormone therapy can be very effective when used under prescription. The end result is dealing with this skin complaint is not the problem it once was, there are now a huge range of products specifically formulated for the task.

Research into how a person can have beautiful skin has progressed a great deal in recent years; it is all about technique and how frequently you carry out your skin care routine. In the West, women have taken the task of staying attractive to extremes with the use of plastic surgery, liposuction and other invasive treatments. But more natural beauty care products are the order of the day now and whilst they may take a little longer to produce results, they are longer lasting and have other health benefits.
The problem has always been our image of beauty care products like cold cream and the anti-aging formulations. Today’s products are able to do much more after the research that has been carried out and are an important addition to your personal care regime. We often forget that our skin is an organ that needs looking after as it has a difficult job to and needs regular help.
Part one in your daily skin care regime is to use a cleansing agent to remove all the pollutions like smoke, dust and make-up that our skin has to put up with on a daily basis. This part must be carried out with a quality face cleanser placed on a cotton pad moved in a circular pattern then washed with clean warm water, drying with a soft towel but take care not to rub the skin when you do this.
The cleanser can affect the PH balance of your skin so the nest step is to use a toner which will restore this balance. Make sure that you take time to add a little lotion and massage to your routine as moisturizers make your skin look and feel soft and supple and can minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Beauty care products that moisturize the skin also form a barrier to lock in the moisture so the skin does not dry out.
Once or twice weekly you should treat your skin with an exfoliant or natural peel to remove dead skin cells and to deep cleanse your skin as part of you skin care routine. This step means that you will need to cleanse and then use a toner on the skin otherwise the exfoliant may not be completely removed.
If you suffer with lines, wrinkles or puffiness around your eyes then a good beauty care product suggestion is the use of eye creams which will improve the delicate skin in this region. Water is another undervalued commodity that helps detoxify and improve the skin tone along with regular exercise and a good diet. It is not a good idea to forget the important role our skin plays in our overall health and of course how we look so taking care of it is not just about vanity.
